HOBO, in concert with Alabama Water Watch at Auburn University, has for many years been monitoring and testing the water in lay lake. We test for e.coli, hardness, pH, dissolved oxygen, and much more. The two HOBO members administering this important program have been actively involved with Lay Lake water quality issues for over six years and are now ready to pass the baton to someone else. This creates a great opportunity for anyone who cares about Lay Lake water quality, wants to get involved, and wants to do something that can make a difference. If you can devote a couple hours a month, have good organizational skills, care about Lay Lake water quality, and would like to administer this important HOBO program, contact any HOBO board member or Lynn Cunningham. All contact information is on this web site.

There will be openings for (4) new board members in October. Please contact the president@laylakehobo.org for additional information on either the water monitoring position or board member position for additional information or if you would like to be considered for one of these positions.
